Are you innovating in the FinTech or IoT space? Does Blockchain offer solutions to problems you are wrestling with? Do you want to protect such innovations? This presentation on how to meet and successfully carve out your space in FinTech, IoT and Blockchain areas is a must attend event. Patenting FinTech inventions has a number of hurdles and challenges that must be successfully met if you are to obtain a valuable IP asset in the FinTech space, including software patentable subject matter issues in the US and other jurisdictions. Many aspects of IoT has been patented; this presentation will discuss how to obtain IoT patents and extract value from such IP assets. As to Blockchain, many uses of Blockchain have yet to be discovered and the diversified encryption nature of Blockchain can provide advantageous solutions which you can protect……and we will explain how.

These "Startup Make or Break" workshops are highly practical, recognizing and addressing the importance of financial resources for survival as well as careful business planning and put special emphasis on fund-raising from potential investors such as business angels and early-stage venture capitalists. They focus on several major topics related to starting and growing business ventures, which include (i) readying the entrepreneurial mind-set, (ii) planning the business – via market identification, business/revenue modeling, and (iii) obtaining the external investment money, using an elevator pitch, a 1-page teaser and a powerful pitch deck, particularly on ventures with innovative ideas and technology.
